I question technology.
Then I build the alternative.
Exploring what happens when AI changes who gets to build technology.

One lesson
Don't overthink making a change. Treat it like walking through a door. You never know what's on the other side. You never can. But you've been walking through doors your whole life. Sometimes you just have to step through blind and trust.
What I'm building right now
Technology is complicated. Conversations shouldn't be.
We are not building an AI product. We are building the technical companion every nontechnical founder deserves.
Software has spent decades teaching us how to use it.
Maybe that was backwards.

I think we've been teaching the wrong side.
What if software started with a conversation?
You're inside the argument right now. One third of this screen is a companion. Two thirds is a canvas that reorganizes around what you asked. No menu to learn.
Think
The permanent library.
Every idea worth keeping gets a page of its own. Read one, share one, follow the thread.
UNPOPULAR OPINION
Blind faith
We raise money, we bring on teams that believe, we set out to build something big. And it is blind faith. Anyone who tells you it is not is full of the stinky stuff.
PREDICTION
Your next SaaS product may not need a dashboard.
THOUGHT
Why does software still have a menu?
A menu is a list of everything the software will allow. It exists because the software could never ask you what you wanted. That constraint is gone, and the menu is still here.
OBSERVATION
We built software around databases because machines needed structure. AI may let us rebuild it around human intent.

What if the dashboard is already dead?
I don't just write about these ideas.
I build things to test them.

Maybe "I'm not technical" is becoming an obsolete sentence.

Coffeehouse Mode
Who's on the couch?
You may recognize the vibe. Coffee, a couch, and six very different ways of seeing the same world.
I'm not trying to predict the future.
I'm building things to see if I'm right.
Come think with me.
The conversation is on the left. Start anywhere.
